Clouvou Warranty – Your Additional Security

1. Definition of the Warranty

With the optional warranty, we offer you a voluntary extension of the statutory warranty for our products.
It is valid for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase and applies exclusively to material and manufacturing defects.

In the event of a warranty claim, we will cover the free repair or replacement of the affected product.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the originally purchased product.

2. Cases excluded from the warranty

The warranty does not cover damage that occurs in the following cases:

  • Wear from regular use: This includes wear parts such as gas springs, padding, casters, seat covers, or similar components that are subject to regular use.

  • Damage due to improper use

  • Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications: Damage caused by repairs, modifications, or interventions by unauthorized third parties.

  • Commercial Use: Damage occurring in the context of commercial or business use.

3. Scope of the Warranty

Your statutory rights remain unrestricted and continue to apply.
In the case of defects covered by the statutory warranty, you have the right to assert the usual warranty claims.

To claim the warranty, we need:

  • Your invoice

  • A detailed description of the defect

We cover the shipping costs if the warranty claim is recognized.
You are responsible for securely packaging the product and sending it to us.

5. Limitation of liability

The warranty exclusively relates to the warranty services described above.

For damages that go beyond the repair or replacement of the affected product (e.g., consequential damages, lost profits, or indirect damages), we assume no liability, as far as legally permissible.

6. Final provisions

The warranty is only valid in the countries where the product was sold.
We reserve the right to change the terms of this warranty at any time without this change affecting warranties already concluded.

7. Deadlines and reporting of defects

To make use of the warranty, defects covered by the warranty must be reported to our customer service within the warranty period after the defect has been identified.

The warranty claim expires after the warranty period has ended.

For all legal aspects of the warranty, our General Terms and Conditions (GTC) also apply, which can be viewed on our website and govern the contractual relationship between you and us.
